            In this last grading period there are so many activities that we discussed.. just like the windows movie maker and the adobe Photoshop. This lesson is so much interesting and it helps ma a lot..  This is our last quarter and my last post ~!! :))

 My future dreams Everyone has dreams. Weather they be to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of money, hot girls, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. College is my first step to achieve my dream.

 I have a dream that one day will come true…I’m claiming that dream now. It might not be today or tomorrow, but it will come one day.Many of those who know me, know that I love books. I love the feel of them and the smell of them. I love how they can transport me to another time and place. I love how they can teach me new things.Dreams have been objects of boundless fascination and mystery for humankind since the beginning of time. These nocturnal vivid images seem to arise from some source other than our ordinary conscious mind.Most people have their future plans, dreams, things which they want to realize some day. Everyone dreams about interesting and satisfactory job with good salary, loving family, beautiful house and many friends. Future plans are often an escape from usual live for us.

        Let us promote change for the better.. Change, means to make different in some particular or it also mean to make or become different. Change implies making either an essential difference often amounting to a loss of original identity or a substitution of one thing for another.
          
         People change with time. Time is what changes people. Every year brings several changes since we have to adapt according to our surroundings and go with the flow of things. Some people change superficially in terms of their looks. You might be going for makeover or a complete transformation. You feel like changing your wardrobe, working on your over all personality and appearance. Some people undergo drastic transformations. Other kind of changes comes internally, related to our qualities. Some people become proud and arrogant once they acquire some name and fame. They start looking down upon their subordinates.

       As a student there are so many things that we need to change.Just like our attitudes during class discussion, we are so talkative we need more discipline.! We should always remember that we are still a student so let practice how to respect others in order to respect us also. Be a good model so that we can change for the better...!!!!!

Kannawidan Festival

             
                               

        

            We all know that KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL is one of the most popular event here in Vigan. People are so much excited when we talk about this event because there are so many activities that are conducted.  In this festival, the Ilocano people showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocano's.

         There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. They displayed their talents as well as their indigenous costumes.Traditional games were played and bingo as well. There were Sarsuela and Komedya Ilocana which were shown.Showcasing the beauty of the Iloconas- the Saniata. We must be proud of being an Ilocano.Celebrating feasts and festivals is a part of our culture and tradition as a Filipino. We have so many different festivals around the country, on each region wherein various things were featured and experienced. Most festivals in the Philippines are religious in origin, but nowadays the religious component is usually secondary to the general spirit of celebration. Filipino hospitality is legendary and at no time, it is more in evidence than at festival time.There is really a need to revive and rekindle the spirit of the Ilocano. There is a need to initiate programs to make Ilocano aware of their customs and traditions, to pave the way in preserving them; and thus, preserve the distinctions of our culture. These are the reasons behind the conceptualization of the "Kannawidan Ylocos Festival". This became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products.It was a fun-filled week of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur.

                                     NEW YEAR, NEW ME!

       One of the sayings says that , “I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something."

     In every year comes in my life it means a lot for me.Because this is a new beginning of my life.I know that in every year comes more problem will come too but I know also that i will pass those problems.There will be a time that I'm happy and a time that I'm sad but I'm always thankful because my friends are always there at my side in good times or in bad times.“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.” ... Sometimes I experience having a friend which they call the "FAIR WEATHER FRIEND," I know that all of us had already experience this.But we are good so we let him do want he/she want to do.
   
     New year is sounds exciting so let us welcome our new life with a big heart. :))“Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.”

   In this third grading period ,I'd learned how to make a background image  and other more exercises.And also about the windows movie maker which we tackled before Christmas break.Movie maker helps me create videos and for that we discuss how to do movie maker.

      Christmas is time for giving and sharing.For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons. Turkey dinners may be only a wish and not a reality for some.

     WE are in that special season once again, a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings. A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.At Christmas, we are expected to spare time to contemplate on things eternal. That is, we must remind ourselves that we are strangers her on earth; that our real home is in heaven. And that no matter how long we live, we shall sure die one day. So many people who started the year 2012 with us are not around to finish it. Like us, they commenced the New Year with high hopes and aspirations. Some may have planned to marry this year, to buy a new car or to move into their new apartment. But alas, all those are now but a pipe dream. Thus, we should count ourselves lucky to be alive to see this Christmas.
   
      Yet, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child.People are very excited if we are talking about Christmas,others are planning on what they will prepare on Christmas eve and others are busy attending the midnight mass.Is it really true.? That if you completed the midnight mass you will make a wish and it will come true? Others believe on this but for me I don"t know.
